The SCHOMANDL K552921 is the “star of the mountain“

aguille

Everywhere in the Alpine region you can see the Schomandl K552921 (VHF dipole), whether on the top of the Aiguille du Midi at 3840 m above sea level or in the valley station of Alpe d'Huez.

The V pole Dipole antenna is installed in all ski resorts in France and ensures safe skiing for all winter sports fans. It is used by the Gendarmerie in France, as well as by the Swiss Air Rescue (Rega) and the Carabinieri in Italy. The Swiss Alpine Club SAC communicates via our VHF dipole for hut security.

Where robust and reliable technology is required, the "star of the mountain" is used.

News from public transport: Train radio from SCHNOOR for Toronto's new light rail line

The "Line 5 Eglinton Crosstown" is the Toronto light rail line under construction. Complementing the Toronto Subway network, it has 25 stations and stops and runs east to west from Scarborough, along the main axis, Eglinton Avenue, to the Mount Dennis neighbourhood. The route will be 19 km long, of which ten kilometers are underground. This required extensive tunneling work.

Customized low-floor light rail vehicles designed and built by Bombardier are used.

Schnoor Industrieelektronik supplied 77 train radio systems with the associated vehicle radio operating devices (DABT). The racks were adapted to the size of the special space requirements of light rail vehicles.

At PMRExpo we present our new train radio developments. We are looking forward to your visit!
