Company History
After working in leading industrial positions for several years Wolfgang Schnoor founded the system house Schnoor in 1990. Together with his wife Angelika Schnoor he manages the company which develops into a leading enterprise in the field of radio technology and communication systems.
The success story began with an order of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) for the Operation Centre in Bremen. Schnoor Industrieelektronik sets up a complete radio network for the surveillance of the costal region of North Sea and Baltic Sea (SEACOM) and a software application for the control centre (SARCOM).
There followed interesting orders of the Waterway & Shipping Administration, the Berlin Transport Service (BVG) and the German Weather Service.
In the year 2003 Schnoor Industrieelektronik took over the field of analogue radio systems from Motorala and continues it successfully.
In the years 2005 and 2009 followed expansions of the company. Now the company employs around 80 people. The offices in Berlin and Munich ensure flexible, reliable and customer-orientated support. |
